Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment
- Previous experience within a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work compassionately and collaboratively with students, colleagues, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in group and individual settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Accurately document student progress and maintain confidential records
- Offer consultation and training for teachers and parents, enhancing classroom communication supports
