Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings desirable
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, provide progress reports, and foster open communication with stakeholders
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of services and student progress
- Contribute to a supportive school culture that champions diversity and inclusion
