Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Glendale, CA

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity for the upcoming academic year providing speech-language pathology services at schools in the greater Los Angeles area. In this on-site role, you’ll support students’ communication needs across a moderate itinerant schedule—generally 1-4 campuses within a manageable commute (never exceeding an hour or 20 miles from home base). The assignment spans the entire school year, from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, adhering to a consistent Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm schedule.
Ideal candidates are passionate SLPs, ready to make an impact with caseloads averaging 55–60 students. You’ll be free to focus on assessment and therapy, as case management responsibilities are handled by designated team members at each site. Both experienced SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (with supervision secured) are encouraged to apply—note that SLPA candidates are not eligible.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Valid CTC credential on file (preliminary, clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable serving students across a range of ages and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with site-based teams for student support
- Itinerant travel within designated commute limits
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
