Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to fill a full-time contract position providing coverage for a maternity leave. This assignment offers the meaningful opportunity to support students’ communication needs and help them thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates will also be considered if credentials are in process
- School-based SLP experience is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population as defined by IEPs and eligibility requirements
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measure student progress toward therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and collaborating with educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in accordance with school and district policies
- Engage with faculty and families to promote effective interventions and support student success
