The ideal candidate brings expertise in speech-language pathology, with a preference for those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). However, Clinical Fellows (CF) with strong skills are encouraged to apply and will be considered as well. You’ll work collaboratively with educational teams to help students reach their communication goals and thrive academically and socially.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- CCC credential preferred, but strong CF candidates considered
- Experience working within a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Passion for student advocacy and helping individuals reach their potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Monitor and document student goals, outcomes, and progress
- Adapt therapy approaches, innovating as needed to fit student needs
