Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or similar environments
- Skilled in teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop rapport with diverse students, educators, and parents
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language services, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student success
- Document ongoing progress and attend meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet each student’s unique needs and learning styles
