Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Ohio, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency problems
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust therapy plans
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and district guidelines
- Provide progress reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions onsite
