Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric clients in schools or clinical settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Deliver direct and virtual therapy sessions as needed, utilizing modern teletherapy platforms
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow school professionals to support student success
- Provide strategies, resources, and workshops for staff and families when appropriate
- Stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services
