Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working with elementary-age students in schools preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Passion for providing individualized therapy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students as identified by IEPs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable input to the educational team
- Maintain thorough records and document student progress in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
