Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current, valid Florida State License for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in a school environment
- Knowledgeable in working with caseloads of 60–65 students, specifically grade 6–8 learners
- Ability to complete district-mandated background checks, fingerprinting, and credentialing requirements efficiently
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services for middle school students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders within the school setting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and student progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
