School Speech Language Pathologist - Orland Park, IL

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA CCCs
- Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, serving PreK-8th grade students
- Bilingual skills with Spanish proficiency preferred, though not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with culturally and linguistically diverse student groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades PreK-8
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic and social success
- Service locations may include campuses in Great Lakes, North Chicago, and (potentially) Waukegan
- Travel to multiple sites within the school network as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
