Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active PEL License required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting with high school students is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades 9–12 in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with various speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff for holistic student support
- Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and staff development as needed
- Provide guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
