Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL); please be prepared to provide a screenshot of credentials
- SLP – CCC required; no SLPAs or CFs accepted
- Prior experience in school-based settings, especially with high school-aged students, is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusive practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services for assigned caseload
- Complete thorough assessments and manage documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other related service providers
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and student progress updates
Hours & Schedule:
- Maximum of 37.5 hours per week with daily staff hours from 7:55 am to 3:25 pm
- Ability to accommodate part-time schedules depending on availability
