Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC certification and active state licensure (or the ability to obtain)
- School-based SLP experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with AAC device use is a plus, though not prominent in this caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bilingual candidates are welcomed and may have tailored opportunities
- Consideration for SLPAs for in-person roles
Responsibilities:
- Support communication development for students in one middle school (5th-8th grade, about 35 students) and several private school campuses serving preschool to 8th grade
- Manage caseloads based on assignment: virtual full-time equivalents 40-45 students, in-person up to 65-70 students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and provide individualized and group therapy
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all reporting requirements
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and staff to optimize student support
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student's needs
