Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity allows you to provide vital speech and language services at one primary elementary site, with occasional assistance at a nearby location to meet student needs. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 51 students, giving you the chance to see noticeable progress and foster lasting relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or Clinical Fellow applicants welcome)
- Previous experience in an elementary or school environment preferred
- Strong skills in IEP development, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and families
- Passion for supporting students’ speech, language, and communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for elementary-aged students with speech/language challenges
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom educators to integrate supportive strategies
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Offer resources and expertise to families and teachers
- Split time between the main elementary campus and assisting at a secondary elementary site as needed
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:10 AM–4:10 PM (37.5 hours per week)
