Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility in Indiana
- Experience providing speech therapy services in schools, especially at the elementary level
- Strong assessment, IEP development, and case management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Organizational and time management strengths to support a schedule of 8:10 a.m. – 4:10 p.m. (37.5 hours/week)
- Flexibility to assist at another site when necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students ages 5-11
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create effective educational interventions
- Write, update, and implement IEPs in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session notes
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
