School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elkhart, Indiana

This role focuses on delivering speech and language services to a diverse caseload that spans both private preschool–8th grade buildings and a 5th–8th grade middle school. Candidates will provide evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative services designed to foster student communication success throughout the school year.
What we’re seeking:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
- Prior experience providing speech and language services in school-based settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and administrators
- Comfortable working with typical school-aged caseloads; experience with AAC devices a plus but not required
- Bilingual skills welcomed; adjustments can be made to support bilingual candidates
- Open to considering SLPAs for in-person assignments
Role highlights:
- Manage an engaging caseload: virtual caseloads average 40–45 students, in-person 65–70 students, with a 37.5-hour workweek
- Serve across several locations, primarily working with 5th–8th graders and students in private preschool–8th grade settings
- Provide comprehensive therapy, conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
- Focus on traditional speech-language needs; minimal AAC device usage required
- Contract runs August 18–June 7, aligning with the academic calendar
