Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or open to CFY candidates
- Strong knowledge of best practices for school-based therapy
- Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Ability to organize caseloads, maintain documentation, and meet deadlines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Implement evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student advancement
- Provide resources and support to general education teachers as needed
