Pediatric Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Elgin, IL

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, strong CFY applicants also considered
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech, language, and communication goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, ensuring measurable progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support overall student development
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
