Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to complete the CFY
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions—individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote optimal outcomes
- Document progress and maintain detailed student records, complying with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities
