Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Chicago Heights, IL

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
- Collaborative team player who communicates effectively with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school setting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student’s communication skills can flourish
