Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Orland Park, IL

An exciting opportunity awaits for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a meaningful role working with students from kindergarten through 9th grade. This contract position, located near Orland Park, IL, focuses on supporting students with mild to moderate needs within a collaborative school environment for the 26/27 school year. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, and offers the chance to provide direct and consultative services to a manageable caseload.
Qualifications:
- Valid IL SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in educational settings and familiarity with IEP processes strongly preferred
- Comfort working with both direct caseloads (14 students with IEPs) and consult students (9 additional)
- Familiarity with the Embrace IEP software a plus
- Experience supporting students in grades K-9, especially 6th grade and below
- Candidates with pediatric, CCC, CFY, or healthcare SLP experience will thrive
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students identified on IEPs
- Collaborate with the case manager (shared office environment)
- Offer consultative services to additional students as needed
- Document and track student progress using Embrace IEP software
- Support the development of individualized goals and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
