School Speech Language Pathologist - Palatine, Illinois

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or anticipated CCC-SLP credential, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Illinois state licensure for SLP or ability to obtain
- Experience or a strong interest in providing school-based speech therapy services
- Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain and utilize equipment and testing materials provided
- Participate in monthly meetings, regional roundtables, and cross-disciplinary collaborations
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement, staying current with best practices in the field
- Engage in regular check-ins with mentors and supervisors
- Take part in annual performance reviews to celebrate achievements and identify growth opportunities
