Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication growth in a school-based setting. We're seeking nine full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work collaboratively with a diverse student population for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll have the opportunity to work with various age groups, accommodating your experience and area of interest.
In this contract position, you’ll benefit from the consistency of a full-time, 37.5-hour work week, following traditional school-year hours. Your assignment will begin at the start of the academic year and extend through to the end, allowing you to provide ongoing support to students and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat diverse speech and language disorders
- Flexibility to work with a range of age groups and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group therapy aligned with students’ IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation according to school and state standards
- Foster an encouraging learning environment that supports student progress
