Take your speech-language pathology expertise to the next level by providing vital support to students across several age groups in a dynamic school environment. For the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, we’re seeking nine dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a collaborative team near Lansing, MI. This contract opportunity offers a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar—from the start of the school year through to its conclusion.

As an SLP in this setting, you’ll have your choice of working with various age groups, aligning assignments with your area of interest and experience. Both experienced SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) will find the support and mentorship necessary to excel, making this a perfect option whether you’re an established professional or starting your career in schools.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid or eligible Michigan SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong new graduates completing CFY are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
  • Experience in a K-12 school environment is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and track student outcomes
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
