Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Active California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in a school setting and familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is valued but not mandatory
- Comfort with AAC devices is a plus
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as well as experienced SLPs, SLPAs, and those with healthcare or pediatric backgrounds
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges in students
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans to address unique student needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions—individually or in groups—to foster communication skills
- Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to coordinate and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and contribute to team meetings as needed
