School Speech Language Pathologist - Oakland, CA

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in K-12 or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to commit to fully onsite services—remote and hybrid applicants cannot be considered
- Organizational skills to adapt to evolving caseload details and school protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language assessments and individualized therapy to students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with educational standards
- Consult with classroom teachers on strategies to support communication goals within the curriculum
- Creatively modify interventions as needed to support diverse learning needs
