Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- Active State Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using standardized evaluations and collaborative input
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in both group and individual formats
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Provide coaching and resources to teachers and parents to support student development
- Maintain compliance with school, local, and federal regulations
