Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in the ESY program
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track progress for each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to create effective communication strategies and instructional adaptations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Offer strategies and resources to enhance students’ speech, language, and social communication skills
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate individual learning needs and foster student engagement
