We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for a part-time, school-based position in Oak Park, IL for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity involves supporting students across multiple private and parochial school settings while providing high-quality speech and language services.
Position Overview
- Part-time schedule (15–18 hours per week)
- Services provided across 3 school sites
- Student population: Grades 3–12
- Manage speech and language services in educational settings
- Collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Provide direct therapy services
- Address articulation and phonological disorders
- Support students with mild-to-moderate communication needs
- Develop and monitor IEP goals as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Student Population
Students may present with:
- Articulation disorders
- Phonological disorders
- Mild to moderate speech and language delays
- Educationally relevant communication needs
Requirements
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
