Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status
- Valid state licensure and certification to practice as an SLP
- Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy services
- Fluency in both Spanish and English; ability to communicate complex concepts in both languages
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-5th grade students
- Deliver targeted interventions and design individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ specific needs
- Collaborate with educators, special education team members, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, goals, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with educational standards
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that promotes language development for bilingual students
