As a vital part of the educational team, you'll work a consistent 37.5-hour week, addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. You'll craft individualized plans and make a real impact across diverse classrooms, using your skills to empower students of all ages.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP License is required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for SLP, or eligibility (per state and district guidelines)
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload serving students with varying needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for K–12 students to identify speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and therapy interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely student records and compliance documentation
- Partner with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, data reviews, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Offer consultative support and resources for classroom teachers
