This full-time contract assignment focuses on working with students in kindergarten through 5th grade, supporting their communication and language development. Your expertise will help foster academic growth and build confidence for a diverse caseload, including bilingual Spanish-speaking students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license or ability to obtain one
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Fluency in Spanish required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Genuine commitment to helping children succeed in their academic and social development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students in both English and Spanish
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, assessments, and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
