Speech Language Pathologist in Des Plaines, IL

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials welcomed
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong bilingual skills in English and Spanish
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy to K-5th grade students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
- Support students’ social, academic, and emotional growth through targeted interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Adapt services to meet the needs of bilingual and multilingual learners
