Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain upon hire).
- Open to SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Prior experience working in school settings is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written) is required.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and patient—capable of building rapport with students, families, and educators.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students in K-5th grades for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to create supportive strategies for student growth.
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services and progress reports, ensuring compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Promote an inclusive, welcoming learning atmosphere for multilingual families and students.
