The daily work schedule is from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM, aligning with standard school hours and supporting work-life balance. Caseloads are manageable, with full-time assignments not exceeding 60 students and initial caseloads around 30.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid IL SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)—active status required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Ability to thrive in a school-based, collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to providing direct, on-site service (no virtual/remote/voco options)
- No SLPAs or Clinical Fellowship candidates for this assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to high school students
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized plans
- Provide support and consultation to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Adapt interventions based on student needs and caseload adjustments
