Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with high school-aged students, is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be comfortable working onsite; remote services are not available for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy services to high school students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school and state requirements
- Manage a caseload that may range from approximately 30 up to 60 students, depending on schedule
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the supportive learning environment of the school community
