Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with high school-aged students, is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be comfortable working onsite; remote services are not available for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy services to high school students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Manage a caseload that may range from approximately 30 up to 60 students, depending on schedule
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the supportive learning environment of the school community
