Pediatric Speech Pathology - Chicago, IL

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Professional Educator’s License mandatory
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide speech-language therapy for PreK-8th grade students
- Maintain clear documentation of students’ progress, session notes, and compliance with district/state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute SLP expertise to the educational team
- Educate and empower families and staff on strategies to foster communication development
