Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Orland Park, Illinois

This contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced SLP who enjoys working with PreK–8th grade students and prefers a flexible, part-time schedule. With a manageable caseload of 15–21 students, you’ll have the chance to deliver meaningful, individualized support and contribute to student success.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator’s License (PEL)
- Experience supporting pediatric populations or school-age children
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within school teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and inclusion
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Provide direct therapy services as well as consultative support to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and parents on student progress
- Serve a diverse caseload of 15–21 students across PreK through 8th grade
- Provide services one to two days per week onsite as part of the contract role
