Speech Language Pathologist in Novato, CA

Position #1:
Take on a vital maternity leave role from August through December 2026, working three days per week. You'll oversee the SLP caseload with responsibilities that include case management, IEP development, conducting assessments, report writing, and providing oversight for SLPAs delivering services.
Position #2:
Provide critical speech-language support two days per week (0.4 FTE) throughout the full academic year. Focused on supporting a K-5 caseload, this position involves all facets of school-based SLP duties, from assessments and treatment planning to delivering interventions and collaborating with educational teams.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Current or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education regulations
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to support and provide guidance to SLPAs
Responsibilities Include:
- Case management of SLP students (evaluations, IEPs, progress reporting)
- Providing direct therapy for a diverse student population
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Conducting assessments and documenting progress
- Mentoring and offering oversight to SLPAs (where applicable)
