Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - North Tonawanda, NY
Make a difference in the life of a medically fragile 5th grader by providing dedicated speech-language therapy services in a supportive, home-based setting. Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state license and valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations, ideally with medically fragile students
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with students and families
- Comfortable working independently in an in-home environment
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver four individualized 30-minute speech-language therapy sessions per week
- Tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of a medically fragile elementary-aged learner
- Collaborate with caregivers and relevant professionals to maximize progress and ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate records of all sessions, goals, and student progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Adjust therapy strategies as needed to align with the evolving needs of the student
