This contract opportunity invites you to work closely with one medically fragile student, delivering essential in-home speech and language support that fosters progress, communication, and confidence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in the state of New York
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Comfort and sensitivity supporting medically fragile students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage both students and families
  • Ability to independently plan and conduct effective therapy sessions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy in the student’s home, following an IEP-guided approach
  • Conduct four 30-minute sessions per week, focusing on individualized goals
  • Develop and adapt lesson materials to suit the student’s unique needs and learning style
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress, attendance, and session outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers and educational team members to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Adjust therapy plans as required for medical status changes or developmental progress
