Working full-time from 8am to 3pm, you’ll provide invaluable speech therapy services and collaborate with a dedicated school team to ensure each child’s success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license/certification in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings, ideally with early learning or preschool-age students
- Strong skills in evaluation, therapy planning, and progress documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with children, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool and EL students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear documentation of progress and collaborate on IEP development
- Provide direct therapy, prevention, and intervention sessions in both group and one-on-one formats
- Engage families and teachers to support students’ communication goals
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional learning as needed
