Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in New Castle, DE

This contract opportunity is available ASAP and runs through June 11, 2027. Enjoy a consistent workweek of 35-40 hours, with schedules flexing between 6:45 AM and 4:00 PM, depending on the school site (elementary, middle, or high school) and needs. Mutually agreeable split schedules, such as 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, are also possible.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid or pending Delaware SLPA or SLP license
- Experience in schools or healthcare settings is a plus, but Clinical Fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Spanish language skills are a bonus, though not required
- Ability to work on-site, pass a background check, and drug screening
- Positive mindset and commitment to helping children succeed
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to students across K-12th grades
- Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and school staff
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings as needed
- Adapt services based on school schedules and student needs
