Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Buffalo, NY

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
- Active state licensure as an SLP and certification to work in schools
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric environments highly valued
- Knowledgeable about assessing and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Compassionate, organized, and adaptable to meet individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of elementary and preschool students, creating individualized treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and detailed progress evaluations for students
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to develop strategies supporting student growth
- Document services and maintain compliance with district and state special education guidelines
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student success
