Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP-CCC credentials
- Texas SLP licensure required
- Previous experience within school settings is essential
- Demonstrated ability to support and mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs); supervision of SLPAs required
- Proficiency in managing diverse elementary caseloads, with a collaborative, proactive approach
- Comfortable working across campuses and adapting to changing needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to elementary students, supporting both group and individual needs
- Oversee the work of SLPAs, providing mentorship, guidance, and quality assurance for service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings, write effective goals, and maintain accurate documentation for each student’s progress
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Travel as needed between campuses in an itinerant capacity
- Remain current with best practices and compliance requirements for school-based SLP services
