With likely itinerant duties, flexibility and adaptability are key.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience in school-based settings
- Comfortable supervising SLPAs
- Willing to coach clinical fellows (CFs)
- Must have experience with elementary caseloads
- Ability to travel between campuses as needed
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and collaboration
- Teletherapy (Voco) positions are not available
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise and support SLPAs; ensure high-quality service delivery
- Serve as a mentor for clinical fellows, fostering professional development
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Travel between assigned campuses in an itinerant capacity
