School Speech and Language Pathologist | North Fort Myers, Florida

Multiple elementary, middle, and high school campuses are seeking SLPs for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity immerses you in on-site collaboration with education professionals—part-time schedules are also considered for qualified candidates.
In this dynamic setting, your clinical and communication skills will help students reach critical milestones. Caseloads will vary depending on location, providing valuable experience across diverse learning environments and age groups.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- Experience with school populations (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to support different campus locations as needed
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing processes, including familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse or JLA badge protocols
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough records
- Participate in eligibility, staffing, and team meetings as needed
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students with communication needs
- Support inclusion and success for students across multiple sites
