As a Speech Language Pathologist serving multiple educational campuses on a full-time or part-time contract, you'll provide evaluation, therapy, and ongoing support to a diverse caseload of children and adolescents. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in PreK–12 students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining documentation, and providing regular updates to families and staff
- Consulting with teachers and other educators on strategies for supporting communication needs in the classroom
- Attending meetings and participating in ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida DOH SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to complete and provide verification for Florida school fingerprinting requirements; familiarity with the AHCA Clearinghouse process or current JLA badge transfer is a plus
