Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Bonita Springs, FL. This contract role covers the academic year, beginning August 11, 2026, and ending May 27, 2027. Both full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules may be accommodated, allowing for flexibility to fit your lifestyle and career goals.

Your work will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and providing speech and language therapy to a diverse student population, ranging in age and school assignment. Potential school locations include Allen Park, Dunbar High, Estero High, Mirror Lakes Elementary, and several others, offering a unique environment tailored to your skills and interests.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL Department of Health SLP license
  • Certification as SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
  • Ability to fulfill fingerprinting requirements and obtain or transfer a JLA badge as per school district policy
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred, but not required for new graduates
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough records and comply with documentation standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
  • Deliver services onsite during school hours only (role not open to virtual/remote work)

Compensation for this role is competitive and reflects your experience, with rates ranging from $39-$51 per hour based on years of school-based experience.
