Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required (or associate’s degree for SLPAs)
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility in process
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or SLPA)
- Experience in school-based settings, with K-12 caseloads, preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Passion for fostering student growth and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and family members to support student learning
- Document student progress, maintain records, and complete required reports
- Offer consultations and training to school staff and caregivers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise
